The proceedings of the 15 October 2025 Conference entitled “Migrants, Missionaries of Hope: Information as a Tool of Truth”, promoted by the Committee "Informazione, migranti e rifugiati", have been published.

On 15 October 2025, the 6th Study and Professional Training Day for Journalists took place, promoted by the Committee "Informazione, migranti e rifugiati" in collaboration with the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross and the ISCOM Association.

The Study Day — held within the context of the Jubilee of Migrants and the Missionary World and inspired by the theme chosen by Pope Francis, “Migrants, Missionaries of Hope,” and reaffirmed by Pope Leo XIV — offered a unique opportunity for dialogue among authorities, academics, journalists, and representatives of humanitarian organizations. Its aim was to explore the challenges facing the media system and to contribute to more accurate and responsible reporting on migration. The initiative forms part of the research project "Per una cultura della cultura: una risposta alla crisi antropologica".

To ensure that the content shared on that occasion can also be accessed by those who were unable to attend, a volume entitled “Migranti, missionari di speranza: l'informazione come strumento di verità” is now available. The book collects and expands upon the proceedings of the Study and Professional Training Day.

The volume includes a preface by Manuel Sánchez and contributions by Giuseppe Baturi, Maurizio Ambrosini, Fiammetta Borgia, Chiara Tronchin, Nicola Di Stefano, José Gálvez, Martina Morini, Francesco Russo, Francesca Cuomo, Alessandra Tarquini, Alessandra Ziniti, Davide Demichelis, Raffaele Iaria, and Antonino Piccione (editor).
